Joe Medeiros

Director of Engineering and Manufacturing

Joe Medeiros joined Nano Green Technology in 2006 as director of engineering and manufacturing. He has more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor processing technology, metrology, and capital equipment industries, including direct involvement with chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) and SC1 and SC2 cleaning.

Most recently, Medeiros was applications engineering manager for KLA-Tencor, with responsibility for all silicon wafer metrology in the Surfscan Division, applications development, and customer demos. Prior to joining KLA-Tencor, he was application engineering manager for YieldUP/FSI International, where he was involved in developing new cleaning and drying technologies/equipment to meet the next generation of semiconductor industry standards.

Medeiros was engineering manager for Exsil. His responsibilities included silicon manufacturing engineering projects related to the processes of silicon metal film stripping, etching, lapping, post lap cleaning, polishing, final polishing, post polish cleaning, thickness flatness metrology, final cleaning (SC1 and SC2) processes, and metrology.

Medeiros has developed 5 patents and published several technical papers. He received a B.S. in engineering from San Jose State University.
